About this deal

Kenwood have billed this model as their smallest food processor to date, and it certainly feels that way.

I also really liked the whisk and julienning functions, the former able to make a great mayonnaise, the latter ideal for slicing potatoes for a hash brown. With eight years of experience as a professional chef cooking in cramped kitchens and developing recipes with limited space and equipment, Katya has become an expert on how to make life easier in the kitchen. Generally, more powerful motors will speed up the task, although other factors, like blade sharpness, are important, too. We were not able to evaluate the additional functions and features during our testing, so they may be great, but we can't speak to those at this time. The sticky feet felt more secure than other models, too – you never know how excited these appliances will get. I made quick tomato purées, whizzed herbs in no time for a herby chilli sauce, sliced onions speedily – although, it should be noted, not quite as thinly as some other food processors.

As well as built-in scales and a weighing plate, it comes with several slicing and grating discs, knife blade, dough blade, whisk, folding tool, mini bowl, grinder, blender jug and even a citrus press for on-demand OJ. There are a wide array of blades and discs, which have their own storage case – something worth bearing in mind, as you’ll need cupboard space for this bulky, heavy machine. litre blender pitcher, which comes included with the food processor, and it was able to shred, chop and slice carrots, onions and courgettes with surprising efficiency in our tests. The functions are seemingly endless, but so are the product options available today, so we tested top models to find the best ones. Results of functions: A machine that efficiently mixed all the ingredients at the same time was a staple requirement. You can make sweet shortcrust pastry and pie pastry by popping all of the ingredients in the bowl and pulsing until they form a ball. Its biggest selling point is its versatility; rather than just coming with a standard blade, slicing disc, and grating disc, this also comes with a french fry disc, dough blade, emulsifying disc, mini-chopping bowl, and spatula. The Morphy Richards Prepstar Food Processor stood out to us because we loved its stand mixer counterpart - the Morphy Richards Mixstar - is one of the top mixers we've ever tried. She specialises in product reviews, having reviews hundreds of small and large appliances and homeware.

Another particularly good value, we found this food processor to be extremely user-friendly and self-explanatory.Packed with a powerful 250-watt motor, this is not only a versatile machine, but a pretty ferocious one, too. The food processor remained stable whilst kneading the dough and the resulting bread had a good even rise. Exclusive to Ninja, it allows you to tailor a program, giving you the result you want when food prepping, at the touch of a button. Kenwood’s kMix is available in a range of colours and metallic finishes, but we think it really suits this special edition chrome casing.
