Ryder later changed his radio name to Caesar the Boogieman when he landed his own show on Invicta Radio after Rod Lucas left the station. Caesar the Boogieman orchestrated some ambitious on-air practical jokes during his time at Invicta. One example: he built up the premise that an asteroid was about to hit the moon, creating a bright light. It would only be safe to look at the light by wearing sunglasses. The show had its serious side with legal advisors and social workers as constant guests helping listeners with problems. [ citation needed] The two seem to share a fairly respectable relationship with Dan. The two gave Dan their "lessons" on how to bond with Josie, despite most of these attempts or advice not succeeding. They will also pair up in any situation, such as the Resistance's raid on the castle (despite them not knowing of their true intentions later). Despite their flaws, the trio mostly make up a good team and have a good guidance on where to go. In 2014, the Geezers Club launched a project Where’s My Boozer Gone? to raise awareness of the gradual disappearance of East London’s historic pubs. The Geezers calculated that in 2015, 92 pubs had been lost in Bow alone over the past 20 years. Barry Steakfries mentions the Geezers in his vlog, saying to not take advice from the two, aware of their doings.

The primary link offered in the accepted (and highest-voted) answer is now longer functional and the other links cited (from Dictionary.com) are rather meager, so I thought it might be useful to list what several sources have to say about the origin of the word geezer. There is strong agreement that (as both Gigili and Thursagen report in their answers) geezer derives from guise. The Bald Geezer went downstairs, wanting another beer to clear his head. The Hat Geezer followed, but he gave Dan better advice before left: he shouldn’t ask other people how to make love, he should ask his girlfriend instead. East London may be rapidly losing its historic boozers, but our lost pubs are being commemorated by a new mural on Arnold Road. After this, he brought his phone-in show to Galaxy 101 in Bristol for a short time, as well as a brief stint, slightly toned down, on London's LBC. At around this time, he also started doing voice links for the UK porn TV station, The Adult Channel; [5] and presented a programme called Caesar's Rude Arena for Television X. [6]The Final stop on our South London odyssey took us to The Ship a lovely pub for locals, that had a nice crowd of people in it playing cards. Despite its name The Ship isn’t on the river but inland and the Geezers thought it was just how a pub should be.” Born in Houston, Texas, to a Ship’s Captain, Capt. Will got his sea legs at a early age. There aren’t many who can say they made their first trans-Atlantic crossing aged 18 months! After college Will signed on as a ordinary seaman on a freighter bound for Egypt. Five years later he would become a licensed ships officer. For 42 years he sailed and enjoyed a lifetime of adventure and travel creating a storehouse of memories that have found there way into his songs. Thanks to the inspiration of a very demanding college Literature professor,Will developed into a wordsmith, using various styles of poetry to remember time, place, events and people that crossed his bow on his travels. Many years of words and verse have been complied in notebooks kept safe in closets and under beds now dusted off to make the lyrics of his songs.

He'd flirt and boat, but never wrote A note to his old geezer. — J.F. Mitchell: Jimmy Johnson's Holiday. Maybe fewer people drink alcohol these days but the social aspect is still needed, and it’s the same with the Government’s cuts to spending on youth clubs. Tragically, we use online social media and PlayStations to fill the void.’ The level reset with Dan once again making the choice to aid the Resistance. However, when the Hat Geezer asked the Bald Geezer what to do, the latter remembered everything that happened before the reset (and was still traumatized). He decided not to go along with the plan, toasted a beer with his now revived friend, spending their time together drinking. It's currently unknown where the Geezers live, or if they even have their own house. They are seen at the Inn in Stage 4, but are seen in another place in Stage 8 and Stage 9.Last night the Active Energy initiative was awarded the Knowledge Exchange/Transfer Initiative of the Year accolade at the Times Higher Education Awards 2022 in London. In a supporting submission letter Ray Gipson, secretary of the Geezer Club, said: “The Geezer Club came about because many older men experience loneliness and isolation, and Active Energy has given us good reason to get together and go out and about to explore places like this and do our research. An Elephind search finds an instance of "old Geezer" from 1873. Some people have created non-canon names for the Geezers as well, the most mainstream being Steve and John. In the old footage at the end of Stage Seven by StudioJoho, it was shown that the Bald Geezer was fighting with the Resistance, but this was changed to him killing the King Resistance at the end (or strangling him in the game). the British Empire Medal in 2016 for his services to the community, he spoke only of others.
