I'm surprised Demon Slayer is already so fast paced; most of the big confrontations I got to in the anime all happen in this volume, so from here on out everything will be a surprise! This was extremely disruptive of the flow of the manga and also very confusing because one second Tanjiro would be fighting a demon in a town and the next second he’d be talking to his mentor back on the mountain. Tanjiro Kamado passes the final selection for the Demon Slayer Corps, is allowed to pick the metal to forge his demon killing sword and heads back to his sister and mentor. We’re also treated to Gotogue’s creativity for fight scenes: while there’s still some work needed in this area (it was only when reviewing the last couple pages I noticed one demon’s arms were chopped off with little fanfare), concepts like demons wielding temari balls or swimming through dimensional pockets keep us engaged.Kibutsuji's Wrath / The Smell of Enchanting Blood ( 鬼舞辻の癇癪・幻惑の血の香り , Kibutsuji no Kanshaku / Genwaku no Chi no Kaori ? We may’ve failed to shed tears over Tanjiro’s slain family, but that we’re this stunned at the death of a minor enemy is proof of Gotogue’s authenticity as an author. As usual, this manga packs a lot of action and development in a single volume, so if I keep discussing every thing this review is going to be hella long. I honestly love this sibling duo, and everyone’s reactions to finding a demon and a demon hunter together. We don't see how bad he really is, yet, but passing for human and being able to turn people into demons by a scratch is pretty powerful.

Since I already know the story from the anime up to volume 15, this is more of a review or revisiting of plot. Readers of all ages will enjoy coloring the gorgeous artwork, action-packed scenes, and funny moments from one of the best-selling series of all time!He's immediately given his first assignment and is sent to help a village where girls a mysteriously disappearing. After a fierce battle with a demon inside a maddening house of ever-changing rooms, Tanjiro has a chance to find out about the fighter in the boar-head mask. Tanjiro is now apart of the Demon Slayer Corps, and is now being assigned to various missions across Japan trying to stop demons.

The all-new Demon Slayer coloring book is the latest celebration of the art of Koyoharu Gotouge, the creator of the hit manga, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. The balance between the heartbreaking and the funny is well maintained, and while Tanjiro is a bit of a special snowflake, he's so wonderfully unaware of it that it doesn't bother me that much (at least for now ;)).
