About this deal

PS on the L2s there are three EC designs - EC stands for Earthwire Changeover and comes in D0, D20 and D40 versions though I've only ever seen D40EC towers so far. I’m not looking to race competitively, but looking for speeds around 160mph and something that turns heads, so to speak. The ‘Equaliser’ was developed for a local club competition to provide a pylon racer airframe and power set-up that was the same, providing a ‘equal’ platform to let the pilot shine! Only use these rules, other sites are available, but only the BMFA rules will apply at competition level.

The qualifying/finals format presents different strategies for competing, and many are just trying to make the finals. Various prefixes and suffixes remain unexplained, and some are still unclear even when you see a diagram! The Hornby models are identical to a set of PL1 towers found just outside Winchester which are approximately 50” high . Note that the tower bible tells us that L16 D2 crossarms are mirrored, not rotationally symmetrical, but all the examples I have seen are rotationally symmetrical. The Wasp kit includes foam veneered wing panel with slot for aileron wires, most parts are CNC Laser cut making for a fast strong construction. Maybe someone somewhere will find the various types easier to understand this way than having to trawl around the Web for months trying to figure anything out.

As a result of such inference, the image gets partitioned into a set of segments that may come from different layers of the tree. Graph cut optimization is one of the standard workhorses of image segmentation since for binary random field representations of the image, it gives globally optimal results and there are efficient polynomial time implementations. I’m making a model electricity pylon and I want to know everything on how to recreate the effect of the metal down to the method and the exact product please? The central tower is just six components that fold / glue together, and each 'arm' folds up from one piece of brass.Unable to locate one in the United States, I came across HyperFlight and found the exact color combination I was looking for. I used to own an F5D Viper - it was a great model in the air but built and designed as a competition model it was fragile on landing - especially at the high speed that it always flew at even on the glide. I decided to insert an electric conversion instead of the Novarossi by using a HET 2W20 motor in combination with 3S 3200 Lipos. Also the fuse front is quite bulbous and when we fitted a prop for the photo shoot the blades would not fold completely when using either GM 30 mm or VM Pro 30 mm spinners. It is a pity the Tower Bible was not the complete version that was obtained and uploaded to the PAS forum but still useful nonetheless.I'm not interested in racing, just as a very fast sport model and happily accept that its a little heavier than my Viper. Couldn’t figure out what the chart was meant to be until I found the exact same D diagram in Transmission tower development in the UK captioned “L2 D tower”. Problem with pylons is that they are way too large for most layouts and so would end up dominating the layout. Extra items will be required including Engine,Radio,Covering, Glues Etc all available from Nexus Models.

A proper L16/L55 gallery is due at some stage on my L16/L55 page, once I have done all the photo clean-up to accommodate the output from my irreplaceable, battered old camera. The L2 D40 EC is a version used where the two circuits can deviate in different directions away from the tower. I have too seen hints and suggestions of others having drawings or access to them and suggestions to make them available for the wider use seems to fall on deaf ears hmm. Whether you use a 3s or 4s battery and for competition or just fun, it will put a smile on your face every time you fly.Yes there a few L4 towers that are used in a modified form usually to replace former PL1 S towers where diversion or replacement has been necessary in the past.
