About this deal

Josh THINKS he’s found a brother, by way of his dad. He met this maybe-brother on an online forum for DC kids, or donor-conceived kids. Eli is this character, and he goes to meet him in Manchester on the train. He’s excited and absolutely SET to do this, as the “now” denotes at first but as the time gets closer he gets nervous and worries if he’s made the right decision. Has he? Is Eli his true brother? You’ll need to read to find out for yourself! Also, the date they choose to meet is his Mum’s party so will he be late or prepared for that? The two danced like there was no tomorrow. Moving around each other as if it was second nature which at this point it basically was. They were brothers related or not, and it really showed how they danced with each other. I don't know where to start! So many positive things to say about this story and the characters within it.

Wow, what a ground breaking middle grade novel. I really enjoyed Sarah Hagger-Holt’s “Nothing Ever Happens Here” and I was excited to read this. It fits their personalities. When stressed, Tubbo would shut down and put on a mask of blankness while Tommy used jokes and laughter to cover how much hurt he was feeling. Tommy and Tubbo were in an empty rehearsal room. Puffy was sitting in the corner controlling the music and helping to remind the boys of little things they needed to fix. Her name’s Carli,” I object, “not ‘the new girl’.” I’ve been hoping to bump into Carli all morning, yet now that she’s in front of me, I feel to shy to go over.”

Do it for mom. Tommy whispered as he spun around once again. The music coursing through his veins, Tommy was so tired but he pushed through. Just a little longer. It took me a while to realize that having a dad was a thing. Of course, I knew that most of my friends had dads, and I knew that I didn’t. I like them to think I was quite an observant kid. But not all of them had dads and, anyway, you didn’t often see dads around. Not like people’s mums, who were always at our house or hanging about chatting while we played on the swings down the park. Look for challenges that will make you grow. Your parents want you to try new things. They’ll be especially proud of you for trying something that you both know could be tough for you. Look for experiences that will be hard but worthwhile. [15] X Research source But given the book is for an age group younger than me, this was a sweet, easy read (especially good for me as english is not my native) and most of the characters were quite likable. Anything goes. Anything that you feel proud of goes. So, let’s get to practice. 1. What are you most proud of in the last month?
Then, dive deeper. Dive into who you are and what you’re proud of in yourself. 2. What qualities are you most proud of in yourself? My amazing coach Puffy. She choreographed all of my dances.''
